Components of the mixer:

The internal mixer mainly consists of: mixing chamber, upper top bolt, lower top bolt, temperature measurement system, two relatively rotating rotors, electric heating and water cooling system, exhaust system, safety device, discharge device, and recording device.

The surface of the rotor has spiral shaped protrusions, with the number of protrusions including two, four, six, etc. The cross-sectional geometry of the rotor can be triangular, cylindrical, or elliptical, and there are two types: tangential and meshing. The temperature measurement system is composed of thermocouples, mainly used to measure the temperature changes in the mixing chamber during the mixing process; The heating and cooling system is mainly used to control the temperature of the rotor and the surface of the mixing chamber wall.

The principle of the mixer:

The principle of an internal mixer is actually very simple. It mainly consists of two rotors rotating relative to each other, using the shear force and extrusion force between the rotors to mix or plasticize the rubber material. 1: Improvement of powder leakage technology:

4: Improvement of temperature control technology:

1. The combination of automatic temperature control system and time control system makes its temperature precise and easy to operate. To achieve heating or cooling, the set working temperature can be rapidly converted to ensure the best mixing and dispersion effect and work efficiency of materials;

The feeding sequence of the internal mixer during the production process:

In the mixing process of the internal mixer, the order of adding raw rubber, carbon black, and liquid softener, as well as the mixing time, are particularly important. Generally, raw rubber is added first, followed by carbon black, and the liquid softener is added after the carbon black is basically dispersed in the rubber material. This is beneficial for mixing, improves the mixing effect, and shortens the mixing time. Adding liquid softeners too early or too late is detrimental to mixing, causing uneven dispersion, prolonged mixing time, and increased energy consumption. The addition time of liquid softener can be determined by the distribution coefficient K. Sulfur and overspeed accelerators are usually added in the later stages of mixing or discharged onto a tablet press to reduce the risk of burning. Small drugs (solid softeners, activators, accelerators, anti-aging agents, anti coking agents, etc.) are usually added after rubber production and before carbon black.

Operation methods and procedures for small internal mixers:

1: Prepare raw materials such as raw rubber, oil, and small materials according to product requirements.

2. Check if there is oil in the oil cup of the pneumatic triple joint, and fill it up if there is no oil. Check the oil level of each gearbox and start the air compressor after the compressed oil level is not less than 1/3 of the center oil level. The air compressor will automatically stop when it reaches 8mpa and drain the moisture in the pneumatic triple joint.

3. Pull up the handle of the mixing chamber door to open it, press the prepare button, turn on the power, and the power indicator light on the small distribution panel will light up. Turn the upper top bolt knob to the "up" position. After the upper top bolt is raised to the "flip" position, turn the mixing chamber knob to the "flip" position. The mixing chamber will flip outward and automatically stop. During this period, the mixing chamber flipping sound and light alarm will sound. After carefully checking that there is no excess material or debris in the mixing chamber, turn the mixing chamber knob to the "back" position, and the mixing chamber will flip back and automatically stop. Place the mixing chamber knob in the middle position and set the required alarm temperature according to the different types of mixed rubber.

4. Start the host and wait for the secondary sound. After the ammeter shows the current, fill the mixing chamber with materials according to the process requirements step by step. When mixing materials with high hardness such as windshields and sheet metal in the second stage, it is necessary to first use a rubber cutting machine to cut open the first stage of the material to avoid stopping the machine. After feeding, turn the knob of the top bolt to the "down" position, and the top bolt will descend. During the descent process, the operating current of the machine will increase. If it exceeds the set current, the machine will automatically raise the top bolt, and after the current decreases, it will descend again. Pull the handle of the material compartment door upwards to close it.

5. When the temperature in the mixing chamber reaches the set temperature, the temperature alarm will sound and light. Rotate the upper top bolt knob to the "up" position, and then rotate the mixing chamber flip knob to the "flip" position after the upper top bolt is raised to the upper position. The mixing chamber will flip outward to unload the material, and the sound and light alarm light will sound. Place the small bucket car under the mixing chamber to receive the material. The receiving personnel should use a pre prepared wooden or bamboo piece to discharge the material in the mixing chamber. It is forbidden to manually remove the material in the mixing chamber. After the discharge is completed, a signal will be sent to the mixer operator. The operator will follow the work requirements. If continuing to work, the mixing chamber flip knob will be rotated to the "back" position. After the mixing chamber returns and automatically stops, it will continue to work. If it stops working, press the main engine stop button, and the main motor will stop working. Then turn the mixing chamber knob to the "back" position, Waiting for the next job. After the mixing chamber automatically stops, place the knob handle in the middle position.

Safety operating procedures for small internal mixers:

1. Before driving, it is necessary to check for any debris between the rotors in the mixing chamber and ensure that all instrument signal devices are in good condition before preparing to drive

When feeding, the cut film should be fed one by one, and it is strictly prohibited to feed it at once

4. If debris falls into the mixing chamber or malfunctions are found during operation, the vehicle must be stopped for handling

5. In case of sudden power outage, the material should be discharged and restarted after the power is restored. It is strictly prohibited to drive with materials

Daily maintenance of small internal mixer:

1. Check the condition of the oil inside the pneumatic triple joint and drain the water inside

2. Check that all fastening bolts are not loose

3. The oil level of each gearbox shall not be lower than the centerline
